Journal of Highway and Transportation Research and Development, established in 1984, is in charge of Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China and sponsored by Research Institute of Highway Ministry of Transport. After nearly 40 years of dedicated work in this field, it has become an authoritative academic journal in highway transportation. Since 1992,It has been honorably selected as a core journal in A Guide to the Core Journals of China for nine consecutive times. In 2021, it was ranked as a Tier 1 journal in the highway transportation category of the 'High-Quality Scientific Journal Classification Directory' by the China Association for Science and Technolog. It has been included by some important database systems at home and abroad, such as Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD), Source Journal for Chinese Scientific and Technical Papers and Citations Database (CSTPCD), World Journal Clout Index(WJCI)of Scientific and Technological Periodicals, iNSPEC Database in the U K ,American Chemical Abstracts (CA), Cambridge Scientific Abstracts (CSA), Japan Science and Technology Corportion (JST), Index of Copurnicus(IC) in Poland.
I Papers Scope
We primarily publish scientific research and engineering practical outcomes in the field of highway transportation that exhibit innovation and practicality. We prioritize papers with a high academic level and novel research methods. Research results funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, major national R&D projects, and provincial and ministerial-level technological innovation funds are given precedence for publication.
We moderately report on innovative technical methods related to highway transportation, advanced material applications, unique process flows, and features of national and provincial/ministerial-level key engineering projects in the form of special topics, columns, and special issues.
We also welcome exploratory results from interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary research.
