Basic Information
Journal of Highway and Transportation Research and Development, established in 1984, is in charge of Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China and sponsored by Research Institute of Highway Ministry of Transport. The journal has always adhered to the mission of "serving the highway and transportation construction industry, promoting academic exchange in the highway sector, and driving innovation in transportation technology." After nearly 40 years of dedicated work in this field, it has become an authoritative academic journal in highway transportation. It is published monthly and distributed domestically and internationally.

This journal regularly features fixed columns such as Road Engineering, Bridge Engineering, Tunnel Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Intelligent Traffic, Environmental Engineering, Transportation Economics, Automotive Engineering, Logistics Engineering, Disaster Prevention and Mitigation, Traffic Management, and Road Construction Machinery. Based on the trends in industry technology development and the hot topics in academic research, we periodically launch special columns to cater to the needs of showcasing national key R&D projects, important academic conferences, industry developments, as well as the collective research results of industry experts or outstanding scholars.

Since 1992，It has been honorably selected as a core journal in A Guide to the Core Journals of China for nine consecutive times.
